Law Office David P. Modell has aligned with the TitleConnect platform, a growing strategic partnership of title and settlement service firms based in the metropolitan Washington D.C. region. The partnership will offer title insurance and settlement services throughout northern Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland.

It follows a format that permits title company practitioners to retain their independence and continue to compete in today’s climate, ripe with evolving regulatory and technology challenges. TitleConnect offers its members compliance and support for ALTA Best Practices, centralized IT data center support, HR administration, escrow/operational accounting, and access to title and escrow licensing in more than 40 states.
Settlement services leaders join forces in D.C. area
Based in Bethesda, Md., Modell’s firm has served the D.C. real estate community since 1985 (founder and Managing Partner David Modell has been in the practice of law almost 30 years). The firm’s focus area of practice is real estate transactions as well as wills, trusts and estate planning. According to Modell, although the partnership will afford clients access to a deeper pool of resources, the firm itself will remain small by design.
“There is no such thing as a small real estate transaction,” Modell said in a news release. “For most people, a $100,000 is a very big deal, and it is to us as well. Our business will maintain its focus on personalized, high level service. We will also continue to take the time to answer questions, educate our clients and advocate their interests to the utmost of our abilities.”
In collaborating with Modell, TitleConnect continues to grow as one of the largest title platforms in the DC metro area. With 19 offices throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., the members of the alliance plan to better service their clients by utilizing any closing location within the TitleConnect network. Additionally, the collaboration allows for the opportunity to provide other streamlined services for both residential and commercial transactions. The focus remains superior levels of customer service and the delivery of title expertise to real estate agents, lenders, builders, developers and consumers.
